Yeah, even going more than 5 seconds too much and it starts burning. Much more of an issue than with ordinary microwave popcorn.
It's worth it though as these are tasty and sweet, but not too sweet.

Was going to try this, but way too many reviews with problems. they talk about burning and tasting burnt, but some mentioned fires. "Moreover, customers report significant issues with burnability, noting that the popcorn burns easily, catches fire in the microwave, and results in half being blackened."

Read the reviews before ordering, because getting good results is very tricky, and the positive ones offer some good advice..

Some of the popcorn was SCORCHED beyond belief cooking this and I took it out early!
The sugary mess gets way hotter than the rest. You should be adding the sweetness after its cooked and let the heat of the popcorn take care of it. That's how they did this in the past with microwave popcorn.
I'd never buy it again. I know some people said they liked it. I couldn't get past the burned smell. Even the non scorched pieces had a burned aftertaste to me.

Great taste. Smaller bag than normal buttered popcorn. Watch timing closely and stop it at about 1 minute and 40 seconds in our microwave.
