Chemical Guys Total Interior Cleaner and Protectant is a versatile interior detailer that also works on some exterior panels and scooter bodywork, with the two pack drawing praise as a solid value. It is described as a cleaner for stains rather than a standalone protectant, so pairing it with 303 for protection fits the way it is used. It also gets credit for handling white Tesla seats, though blue jean stains and carpet may need something stronger. A few notes flag residue, dilution, and heavy fragrance, so it seems best for light interior cleaning and freshening.
Common Questions (4)
It is described as a cleaner first, with 303 recommended afterward for protection. The product is also reported to work on interior and exterior panels, but some users consider it heavily diluted and fragrance-heavy.
It can be used on Tesla seats, but one report says it left a weird residue and prompted a switch to 303. Another comment warns against harsh chemicals on Tesla seats because the material is not real leather and can degrade.
It works on some surfaces, including white Tesla seats, but it reportedly had no luck removing blue jean stains. For heavier carpet or deep stain jobs, a stronger cleaner may be needed.
It reportedly works well on Honda Reflex and Elite scooter body-work panels, showing it can be used on more than just car interiors. That makes it a versatile cleaner for plastic panels and similar surfaces.
