i would go in store for open box items and physically check the item. Plus the prices on store are probably much cheaper than online. I was able to get the one with geforce 5050, i9 285, 32GB, 1 TB one from best buy for 908 (before tax). It was listed as a fair condition, however it look pretty brand new to me.

no you don't. the OLED track pad is terrible. I bought one for the wife. she hated it. 17 is better in every way. 16 is smaller and nothing like an LG OLED TV.

Yes along streaming content and some local AI tasks.

The biggest selling point for the specs for my use case is that all of this is packed into a 3.2 lb 17" package.
