I just grabbed the 4 on Ali for 453. Shipped local in about 3 days. Cant imagine choosing the 3 to save $75 even if the updates are minimal. Worth it for the battery life alone!

I just grabbed the 4 on Ali for 453. Shipped local in about 3 days. Cant imagine choosing the 3 to save $75 even if the updates are minimal. Worth it for the battery life alone!

Considering DJI seems to be on USA's naughty list, unless you already have DJI mics you may as well avoid them. Other than that issue, the DJI stuff I have used works great. I do have some DJI mics and they pair without any need for a dongle to these cameras which makes them a great choice for me.

I was going to get an XTRA Muse but they would require me to plug in a receiver or pair using a lower quality Bluetooth connection.

Insta360 makes wireless mics that pair with their cam. I'd go that route if I were buying everything I need right now.

E: Sounds like a firmware update made it possible to pair DJI mics with Xtra Muse. Good to hear. You can get them for $329 on Amazon right now.

The storage is a huge upgrade too. On the pocket 3 you have to buy a micro sd card which would probably add close to $75 to this price with memory costs these days. The pocket 4 you should get one too, but the included 100gb will get most people by
