Almost no ventilation so you will get very hot in this tent. The problem with cheap tents is mostly the seams and zippers— if any of them break/tear then the entire thing is pretty much ruined, or at least more trouble than it's worth to fix. I had a cheap-ish Ozark Trail instant tent that was pretty nice when it worked, and then was rendered entirely useless when the front zipper stopped closing. If you this tent for more than a single weekend I would spend a bit more for a basic Coleman at the least.

does it ventilate on top by chance ? as hot air goes up and goes out or really wonder whats that on top to deflect rain ? really wonder how does it work.

Got one for backyard camping with the kids. I imagine that's pretty much its ceiling for usefulness.

It looks like the rain fly is elevated. I'm assuming its like other cheap tents I've seen where there is a vent on top and the rain fly system covers that vent over a inch or so gap. The downfall is the size of the fly as it can't properly deflect rain.

Probably only good for 2 or 3 small children for 1 summer.
