This one is a bit faster and has a stronger motor, but not as good for crappy roads.
Expect real world range with stop and go to be closer to half what is listed. If I am in sport mode, gunning it, and going up and down hills, I probably only get 25% of the stated range. If I am on a smooth bike trail and put it in a cruise control at 16 mph, I can get about 75% of the range. The only way you are going to get close to 100% of the range is in eco mode going like 9 mph.
The Segway app is excellent and you can enable things like regen breaking. It also does fairly regular firmware upgrades which are actually useful, although you will hear people complain because sometimes the upgrades change things like reduce acceleration but for the benefit of something else.
I do recommend that you change the charging capacity to 80% in the app because that is a lot healthier for the battery. If I'm doing a longer ride, then I will charge it to 100%.
Also, it is not good to charge a hot battery directly after a ride, so within the Segway app, while you can't set a charging delay, you can set the charging time so I set mine to charge between midnight and 7:00 a.m. because I know I won't be using it then.
Overall, I have been very happy with Segway.

The Segway Ninebot MAX G3 is a fast, premium scooter best suited for riders who want strong acceleration, a 28 mph top speed, and a capable app with useful settings like regenerative braking and battery charge limits. It also has real-world durability, with one long-term ride logging about 4,000 miles and the battery pack appearing replaceable. The main cautions are range and safety, since the advertised 50 miles is tied to slow 10 mph riding and harder use can cut range sharply. At 28 mph, proper helmet and protective gear matter, and the 55 pound weight and 286 pound limit may affect portability and fit.
The Segway app supports regen braking and useful firmware upgrades for ride tuning.
The scooter can be charged to 80% in the app to help battery health.
The battery pack is listed at $283.99 on the Segway store, which can make replacement budgeting easier.
The GT3 internal battery reportedly fits and can increase capacity by about 40%.
Riding at up to 28 mph can increase injury risk, so a motorcycle helmet with a visor and other safety gear are strongly recommended.
Real-world range can drop to about half the advertised figure in stop-and-go, sport mode, and hills.
The 50-mile claim may be measured at 10 mph rather than at the higher 28 mph top speed.
Battery degradation can reduce effective capacity to around 500 Wh, which can limit rides to roughly 14 miles at 28 mph.

Buy this one and buy Allianz Insurance too... do not buy segway over priced
It's like someone asking about an affordable alternative to a Ferrari and recommending Toyota Corolla. Segway sells basic scooters for not much more than that navee, but they're going to compare to come close to the features of the max G3 either.
Here is the one you want to compare:
Even at its non-discounted price, this scooter beats the Max G3 in pure specs. The Navee XT5 Pro packs a 2200W peak motor (vs the Segway's 2000W), hits a higher top speed of 31mph (vs 28mph), and comes with legit dual arm suspension and 12-inch off-road tires.
The range is basically a wash (46 miles vs 50 miles). At $1,100 normal retail, it's only 100 bucks more than this G3 "deal," but you're getting a much beefier, heavy-duty machine. Plus, you can grab Allianz insurance with it and protect it for up to 4 years. If you want a real Ferrari-to-Ferrari comparison, this is the actual alternative.
