yeah.. it's "$1800 off," and if you're into Murphy Lab's I guess it could be considered a good deal, but I wouldn't want a heavy-aged Gold Top, they generally select the better pieces of wood for the Murphy's but any more than light aged and they don't look that good imo, if you can find a CS VOS used in good condition these LP's tend to hold their value as much or more than any but there are just so many smaller independent builders who'll make you a true Historic LP, w/ a Brazilian-rosewood fretboard, etc, for less than that..
