Very, very occasionally (maybe a couple times a year) they seem to have some issue with my wifi that causes them to disconnect and fail to reconnect, but they come right back up after hitting the small reset button under the paddle, and the connection is reflected on the LED... somehow (I don't recall how). Vitally, they never stop operating "dumb", so if my wifi goes out or they have other trouble, they can still be operated by getting up and walking over to them. Also, since two are having the same failure state next to each other, it could entirely be a failure on some other part of my infrastructure (brownout, RF noise, wifi AP dropping them) so I can't even say I blame them for that failure, but they still handle it fairly gracefully.
I also have a couple KS210's (I think?) in some 3-way configs (with normal dumb switches on the other end) and they're also very good in that setting.
I'm moving away from Wifi (esp 2.4GHz, my place is crowded) for IoT stuff, shifting more stuff to zigbee, but the in-wall Kasa's have been so trouble-free that they're pretty much the bottom of my replacement list.
