This price used to be normal price before they jacked up the price.

There is no such thing as normal price now a days. Everything gotten significantly expensive the past few years.

For $20, this looks more useful than half the flashlights I've impulse-bought from Harbor Freight.

What temp is the light? 5000k or 6500?

I'm not saying the picture is misleading....but to me the photo makes it look like this would be waist high...at least. Not less than 15" tall (per the spec sheer)

*now the 800 lumens did have me second guessing how compact this might have been, and I was correct.

From what I understand tripod extends from 14" to 32", still not very tall.

Honestly that makes more sense based on the photo. I question though how much light 800 lumens really is at that height unless directed to something very close (especially considering the 'flood' aspect.) Thanks for the info and I'll probably look at one in person before buying...assuming I can justify a trip to HD.
P.S. I like the rechargeable nature. With a battery bank you could keep these running for a while.

I have one and enjoy using it. It is a very good light. The light itself screws off the stand and can be used by itself. It has a magnetic back and can be mounted for handsfree use.

Another plus for the various Husky worklights relative to HF is the 3 year warranty. Even the more premium Icon lights from HF only have 90 day warranties.

I wonder if they make a mount for it so I can use it as a headlamp?
