Community Reviews
The KC2 is a premium Washlet that stands out for heated-seat comfort, strong cleaning, and built-in odor control. The attached side controls are preferred over a remote, and the deodorizer is described as an active carbon system that works well when the cartridge is replaced about once or twice a year. The main hesitation is price, since cheaper bidet attachments and the tankless S2 offer slimmer design, adjustable wand position, and extra features for more money. It reads as a comfort upgrade with real convenience, especially if heated seating and odor control matter.
Common Questions (4)
Yes, the heated seat alone is enough for some buyers to consider it worth it. The KC2 also adds on-demand hot water, a night light, deodorizer, and attached side controls, which some prefer over a remote.
It uses an active carbon filter with a fan to pull odor air through the unit, rather than masking smells with perfume. The cartridge typically needs replacement about 1-2 times per year.
The S2 is described as the better value for the extra money because it is tankless, has a slimmer profile, saves energy, and includes an adjustable wand position. It also adds EWater+ wand sanitization and a programmable LED light.
The KC2 may feel weaker than manual bidets if you want a strong blast, since heated electric models can have less pressure. Manual attachments are described as much stronger, while the KC2 is still preferred for comfort and convenience.

But seriously if you're on the fence, start with a basic cold water bidet. I got one on a SD for I think $40 and it's amazing. Saves time and money with less toilet paper and the cold water isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

It's a nominal difference in quality... I'm in FL so my "cold" water is always lukewarm.
If your water is actually ice cold, that might be worth the upgrade, but it's not worth almost 400 more to me.

We prefer the attached controls vs the remote on the S5. Otherwise, it has almost all the bells and whistles like heated seat, on-demand/continuous hot water, night light, deodorizer, etc.
