I can't say anything about this brand, but I have gotten a couple of similar sets over the years. For the majority of people I would say that these are adequate for resistance exercise. And if you really want to get strong or muscular you probably have a gym membership anyway. But this is a very solid and cheap option for someone looking to add some strength/muscle that doesn't have much experience.
