No it's true, Albacore and any other "premium" large fish has higher levels of mercury, not only because they've been in the ocean longer, they eat smaller fish which transfers even more mercury.

Cheap shredded tuna is from small fish that have less mercury for the inverse (opposite) reasons.
And it's recommended you limit yourself to two cans a week.
It's literally listed on Bumbleebee Tuna's own website.
You know it's serious when the manufacturer is telling you to use LESS of their product.

edit: i still love tuna, I just consume it more carefully.
