Great price on a great tool. However keep in mind this doesnt have DOIP. Im not a mechanic but my understanding is old CAN tech is too slow for modules on newer cars (mercedes after 2021, newer German cars, hybrids etc). DoIP (diagnostics over IP) enabled scanners give insight/detailed codes for doip modules that this unit may not give. Dont think this would show some high speed infotainment modules, BDC and other newer, ethernet-only modules. Would like for an actual mechanic to chime in or someone that has used this tool on newer BMWs (2024+), Mercedes etc.

But this was ultimately my decision for going with MK900BT instead. I wanted something cheap but cheaper tools always have sort of limitation.
