Played the PC version with my D&D group. We meet weekly, and sometimes we just do party games. This was a lot of fun, definitely a fun party game. We still prefer jackbox party as a whole, but lego was a good change of pace. Its a big budget party game, so expect that.

This is a whole lot of fun. My kids and I play the mini games, but it is definitely good for all ages.

Jamboree has almost double the party games. Seems like jamboree out competes lego party in everywhere. That said, I've never played it. I'm seeing lego party goes for $20 less typically. Right now Jamboree is going for $52, so yeah, a little over $20 more. In the past, the mario party games have always been gold standard for party games.

I've been playing Mario party since n64 days and this has replaced it for my meetups. The mini games are all well designed, and none of the "luck" based ones that I personally loath like guess which balloon won't blow you up. competing for turn order adds extra motivation as well, among other QoL improvements over MP. Fun maps, hopefully they'll add some more.

My nieces love creating their own minifig as well, hundreds of combos you can make for your character and they've been adding more.

Why would you comment without ever playing it? I have played both and I love Mario Party but I vastly prefer Lego Party. The mini games are more in depth and more engaging. It also adds the nice little twist of the minigame taking place at the beginning of the round and your ranking determines your turn order. It adds more competitiveness because if two people are very close to the golden brick, you really want to beat them in the minigame so you can go first. Like I said, I really enjoy both games, but there's not really anything Jamboree does better than Lego Party.

I have not played Jamboree but Mario Party Superstars. I prefer Lego Party- it's funny and more about luck allowing my children to beat me easily. The games are more fun and wackier. It's just better overall in my opinion. Marty Party is likely more diverse and much better graphics, but it feels stale. The best way I can sum it up is that Lego Party is just more livelier. However, I play on Lego Party within Netflix games. Is this Switch version any different?

Developers mentioned that the Switch will be getting a free upgrade to the Switch 2 soon, if that helps.

Seems like a similar deal on Steam too. Never played but protonDB says it works perfectly on Steam deck
