This Dollar General Coke deal is mainly a cheap way to stock up on 12 packs, with the best value coming from stacking the $5 off $25 coupon and small fillers to clear the threshold. The deal has worked in store and through the app, and some carts have landed around $24 to $26 after tax. Inventory is the biggest hurdle, since stock varies widely by location and exact flavors like Diet Coke or Cherry Coke can be hard to find. Coupon handling can also be finicky, with clipping, phone number entry, and coupon order affecting the final price.
Common Questions (5)
The deal is effectively 6 twelve-packs for $24 before coupons, so adding any $1 filler item gets you over the $25 threshold for the $5 off $25 coupon. Some shoppers also note the store may print or apply the coupon in-store, and the final total can land around $20-$26 depending on tax and local pricing.
Yes, the coupon workflow can require loading coupons in the app or website and entering your phone number at checkout, and some shoppers had trouble seeing the cart or getting the full discount online. In-store checkout sometimes applies the discount differently than the cart total.
No, inventory varies a lot by location, and some stores have only a few packs or empty soda shelves while others have dozens in stock. The exact flavors also vary, so checking when Coca-Cola stocks your local DG helps.
Yes, the coupon can reportedly be printed in store and used again on another purchase, with a fresh coupon generated each time. One comment also says the promotion was still repeatable on July 4, the last day mentioned.
The $2 coupon must be clipped for 3 twelve-packs and can only be used on one set of 3, so it does not apply to every six-pack bundle. If you want the full discount on a larger order, you may need to add $2 back into the total.

You skipped over half of the steps. Don't forget the energy it requires to log in. Add coupon. Then entering your phone number at the store! All of that surely adds 30-45 seconds, roughly the same amount of time it took for them to say it's too many steps.
I picked up 3 12 packs of Coke(3 for $12), 3 of Mountain Dew (3 for $14 less $4 coupon), and 3 assorted (3 for $15 less $2 coupon). I bought the last group because I wanted to make sure I hit $25 after the extra coupons, and did not want to buy somerhing I would not use. I put the items in my shopping cart to check the price, and it totalled to $29 plus taxafter all the coupons.
In the store it totalled $31 plus tax. The cashier told me the order of clipping the coupons was the reason I did not get the $4 off Mountain Dew, although I had not clipped the $2 coupon. .
If there are other Mountain Dew people, buying 6 12 packs of Mountain Dew, and using the $4 off $14, and $2 coupons should get you 6 12 packs for $22. Adding 3 of the Coke products from the OP only adds $7, $12 less the $5 off $25 coupon, which for me would be better than any other filler.
