This CyberPowerPC build stands out as a strong prebuilt value around the Ryzen 9 9900X and RX 9070 XT, especially for a balanced gaming and productivity machine. The case gets praise for its clean look, and the configuration can be customized, with free case color changes, a free Premium Warranty upgrade, and easy swaps like a Crucial P310 SSD or different motherboard and power supply. The main knocks are that the stock SSD and PSU are worth reconsidering, and the 32GB memory limit may feel light for heavier editing or generation work. A flexible base for tuning into a better fit.

  • PC builders who want a near-ready 9800X3D plus 5070 Ti setup, because the base configuration can be tweaked into that combo for a little over $1800.

  • Buyers who want a prebuilt with room for tasteful customization, because the case color, warranty, and component choices can be changed without much extra cost.

  • Shoppers comparing prebuilt value against DIY parts pricing, because the total lands close to what a similar build costs once CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, PSU, and Windows are counted.

  • Gamers who also do heavy productivity work, because the 9900X's extra cores make the machine feel more balanced than a pure gaming chip.

  • Competitive 1080p gamers chasing the biggest CPU uplift, because the 13700K is only about 2% faster in that use case.

  • Video editors and video-generation buyers needing 64GB memory, because this configuration only includes 32GB RAM.

  • Nvidia loyalists who want DLSS support and stronger resale value, because the 9070 XT is the better value only until the price gap widens.

  • Builders who want exact part control from the start, because the prebuilt can feel like roulette unless you customize it.

The cost of switching to a 5070ti isn't bad if you're looking to build Nvidia.

And I'd second the suggestion above to change the SSD to the Crucial P310 for no cost. The MSI Pro B850-VC motherboard also looks better (Wifi7 and 5Gbps ethernet) and is cheaper.

The inside of this case looks like a really expensive apartment. How many bathrooms?

I went a little nuts with a 5080, beefy psu, 2tb hd, and 64gb of ram. Total with tax was 3003.30. I do a lot of video editing and would like to get into ai video generation. Any thoughts?

To be honest I think I'd go the other direction on CPU and downgrade to a 9700X, that should still be plenty powerful enough to not bottleneck a 9070XT or 5070ti.

For those that don't know you can customize this. I got the 9900x and 5070Ti for $1788 after some parts tweaking. And honestly I'm relieved knowing what's coming in my new system rather than playing roulette with the parts on a pre-built.
And I'm a guy who bought the IBuyPower 9900x/9070xt for $1749 from Walmart. I canceled.

You might as well get 9800x3d for 48$ more?

I missed out on the Walmart deal as I was dragging my feet. This seems comparable correct? Several options to upgrade to 2tb. Which one is the best value? I mainly game. Coming from a Mac that I've had for 10 years. Would appreciate any recommendations for a nice monitor as well. Thank you.
curious, which Walmart deal are you referring to?

DRAM and NAND pricing is going to keep getting worse before it gets better. Even the next wave of fabs coming online over the next few years are going to be focused on enterprise products (e.g. HBM). Don't expect things to be better in 6 months or a year.
lol I keep telling this to people the government has made sure that we have over 5,000 data centers already, they aren't going to let this die out, our rivals China has 500. Even if the government will use our stolen money to out right buy the data centers, you bet your a$$ they will. If you have the money now and want a pc do it now or live without it possibly forever, we don't know if the pc gamer companies will even survive all of this nonsense. I would even suggest buying some back up components that are known to fail at higher rates just to make sure you have a pc in a few years. They want us to own nothing and thank them for it. They will be much happier renting you out a virtual pc at 50$ a month for up to 4 hours of use a day and eventually when you can't get your hands on consumer pc parts charge you much more.
