We currently can't even take full advantage of "4k"! Not to mention most people stream their content which is even more inferior!

Keep in mind these have been displayed for over a year. Powered on 12 hours/day, 7 days a week for a year. 4000+ hours of use. get the warranty

It upscales to 8k. And ps5 pro has some games in 8k. If you have a high end pc it also does 4k 240hz.

I bought a LG 8K tv for $800 in a openbox deal. Def notice the difference between 4k and 8K when using a streaming service like Disney plus since the LG does upscale but it's really only as good as the content that is inputted ie certain YouTube videos look phenomenal and others are similar to what would be seen on a 4k tv. Hooking up an Apple TV has helped. At this price would def recommend
