It takes a lot for me to not make it through a movie...but this one i could not.

Even despite my love for the Borderlands game...and decent cast.

I love borderlands 3 and overall borderlands games.
But this movie was a torture. They could really have made a good movie with Pandora as the locale.

T-Mobile offered customers tickets to this for $4, so I took advantage of it. Whenever someone asks me, a lifelong fan of the video games, what I thought of the movie....I tell them I got exactly $4 worth of entertainment out of it.

I love watching the hivemind fume about things like this. It was a 50/50 coin flip which extreme opinion of this movie reddit allowed them to parrot....long before they ever saw even the first preview or trailer.

FWIW, the movie wasn't good but I've seen far far far far far worse movie adaptions of video games that the groupthink is programed to worship. At worst BL was forgettable.
