Eufy no longer makes these cameras and I like the form factor. Buy a set of solar panels off Ebay to keep them charged.

Says 180 days, I imagine it is so you don't need to pull it down to charge it 2x/year.

135deg angle and 4k is intersting. Seems bulky. If I didn't get the Homebase 3 for $50 I'd be on this deal to test these guys out. Looks like there is no onboard storage so you need to connect t to Homebase. And looks like the precursor to the eufycam3 minus the built in solar panel. Panels going for $30 on eBay now.

Edit again; I bought it, FOMO on testing this out and I think its form factor will be good to fit in and get all angles.

I have a couple of these and they're good cameras. At this price I would buy a couple kits if you needed a Eufy system. Sell the second homebase unit for $25 and you're away laughing.

Dumb question maybe, but will this homebase work with all my other eufy cameras? I have 6 or so but no base, just always paid for the cloud. Thanks in advance

Can you actually read license plates with these cameras? We have Ring cameras now, and you can not make out license plates.

The description didn't say that it included the homebase. I bought it directly from Eufy's site before thinking that it came with the homebase. But, it arrived without it. I called Eufy mentioned that the picture was misleading. The two cameras doesn't work without the homebase. They didnt care and said I have to pay for the return. The homebase costs around $100. Anyone knows where I can buy their homebase cheaper than $100, please send me a link?

Depends on how new the cameras are. Mine works with 5 of my new ones, but not 3 of my older ones.

Well that is pretty misleading if true. SD post says this one does though, but can't tell on the woot page, but it's in the pic. looking at the reviews on the Amazon link it appears they do come with it though

I have eufy cams that connect to my strong WIFI router. My old arlo setup has the base. Too much unknowns and research trying to determine which cams work with the base units. Seems the newer base3 won't work with new cams. wtf. I guess I'm saying don't go with a base setup unless you are certain of no future upgrades or distance from the base that might impact mediocre wifi signals.

They make a similar form factor just not 4k. Looks like they're concentrating more on the solar which I have no interest in. Single story house and it's not an inconvenience to take down and charge them every 3 months so I much prefer these smaller cameras.

I only bought because it came with home base. If it doesn't, ill cancel the order. Possibly woot staff can confirm?
