I had the older version with different nonstick (Quantum2) and overall I really liked it. Despite never using it with high heat, It discolored very quickly where the element was, and the plate was warped (I assume from the factory). The thermostat was borderline useless as 200F would burn pancakes. I said I liked overall, though, and I did! I liked the size and the nonstick seemed fine.
I complained enough about the issues I described, though, and the manufacturer sent me a replacement with the new "EverGood" nonstick. The thermostat has the same model number, but it's definitely different. I've only used the new one a handful of times, but it definitely seems better.
