I actually just found these under my bed today. I bought them ages ago, but they rolled off my bed into the abyss and I forgot they existed.
you sound convincing but you are wrong just the same. Let's do a quick check, shall we?
All of these are magnesium oxide, promoted for "muscle relaxation, nerve health, bone health, and heart health", "proper bone mineralization. [...] also involved in muscle contractions and nerve impulses", "May help support bone & muscle health" - nothing about indigestion.
It is the magnesium carbonate that is used as antacid for heartburn relief and the "milk of magnesia" (Mg hydroxide) that is sold as osmotic laxative.
It is true that Mg oxide is the cheapest Mg supplement. Though in excessive amounts can be laxative too, due to low absorption remaining in the gastro tract.
better absorbed indeed are glycinate, taurate and malate forms
