I've bought dozens of refurb computers over the years. Nearly all of them have been indistinguishable from new, and at steep discounts. The Allstate warranty is better than a manufacturer warranty since it's 2 years. This is a good deal.

Thanks. In for 1. Anyone who is on the fence, my Chase Freedom card has an offer expiring today (June 30) for 10% cashback on eBay purchases that I was able to use.

I didn't see $3 mentioned in my fine print, so I'll see what they give me. I was buying this either way, so any amount of bonus cash back works for me.

Mine is like new. Flawless exterior and screen. Even had all of the stickers on it just like a new computer. Arrived doble boxed and the interior box was bubble wrapped. Came with an original Asus charger too. I checked the battery health, and it charges to a full capacity of 100 percent. Honestly, I would never guess it was reconditioned.
