This industrial strength Velcro tape stands out for light mounting jobs where screws feel like overkill, especially on smooth plastic and other flat surfaces. It has been used to hold routers, small computers, an Apple TV, and even a burner DVD player in place for years, with one setup lasting more than 6 years and another for 2 years. The main caution is removal, since the adhesive can pull paint off walls and strong pulls could bend a thin TV. It looks best suited to tidy, low weight mounting where surface damage is not a concern.
Common Questions (3)
Yes. It has been used to mount a router to the back of a desk and very small computers to the backs of monitors for 6+ years without issues. It can also support an Apple TV and a burner DVD player under a desk, making it practical for lightweight electronics.
It may hold a 65-inch TV if the wall material and strip length are sufficient; one estimate says the tape is rated at 1 lb per inch with a 10 lb maximum, and two 12-inch strips or three 10-inch strips were suggested. The bigger concern is removal, which can bend the screen or damage the wall.
Removing it can pull paint off the wall, and pulling a large TV off the wall can bend the panel. That makes it better suited to devices you can remove carefully, or to setups where wall damage is acceptable.

A few years ago I ordered a 65" S95B Samsung OLED and the installers (Samsung's people) picked it up by the corners instead of by the middle how the directions said to. They turned the flat screen into a curved tv and I had to have it replaced :|
My guess is while probably velcro could hold many models of tv's these days, pulling it off the wall might actually bend it.
