These Pure Protein bars are mainly a budget pick for chocolate snack bars with a high protein angle, and the deal price lands around fifty cents each. The flavor gets described as meh, chalky, or rubbery, though black coffee helps them go down easier. The bars also contain hydrolyzed collagen, so they are not vegetarian. Heat can be an issue in summer shipping, making delivery timing worth watching.
Lifters wanting a cheap grab-and-go protein snack, because the bars are filling enough to keep eating them consistently despite the chalky taste.
Shoppers who can tolerate a chalky, rubbery texture, because the bars are described as chalky, rock hard, and rubber tasting.
People who want a sweet snack with coffee, because the chalky flavor goes down with black coffee.
People who care about good flavor, because the bars are described as horrible tasting, very meh, and not the best tasting.
Vegetarians avoiding animal ingredients, because the bars contain hydrolyzed collagen.
Shoppers in hot weather, because the bars can melt in delivery when left on a porch.
