- False advertising: claims to be Made in USA but actually labeled China
- It says right on the bottle, "DO NOT USE ON ELECTRICAL FIRE", eh?

Do you have 5+ items for the month? That's the only reason I can think of for it to be different.

Based on the label design from the product photos vs the user review photos, it looks like they either subbed out the original product from around ~2022 with an updated one... OR they just slapped on a new label but kept the product the same. Without knowing if the formula itself actually changed, it's hard to say if it actually is effective now on electrical fires? Or they just decided to relabel to say it is. Technically it could have changed if it was originally made in the US but it is now made in China.

Prepared Hero is a joke of a company. They were able to run a good ad campaign on TikTok and got a bunch of people to buy these hidden camera detectors. Well, they never worked anyway and my in-laws followed the return instructions to a "T" and never got refunded. Had to dispute the transaction with their CC company and get a new one - and when you look around, that seemed to be pretty common

Obviously has to do with compounds.

Some products that are 100% organic are great for not being toxic but also no so great for fighting all types of fires.

For electrical fires, it has to be a Class C rating (it's electrically non-conductive). Manufacturers are lawfully not allowed to state they can be used on electrical fires but for many homes, your circuit breaker will shut off power if there's a short so in an emergency, I would still use it. It's better than leaving the fire to grow (priorities). A fire would destroy more than a 120v short.

Now for EVs and DC power, the story is different.

From Amazon AI: According to community Q&A for the Prepared Hero Fire SprayEmbarrassmentne reviewer flatly states: "It does NOT work on electrical fires."Another notes it will only safely put out electrically-started fires if the power is already turned off first. For live electrical fires, you need a CO2 or dry chemical (Class C) extinguisher — not this spray.

The brand name tells you all you need to know... Thankfully, these outfits give us these clear warnings. Good luck.
