Best for storing yard tools and whatnot - not any type of item that can grow mold when it seems to inevitably fail. I had shelving in mine with some boxed up things, before I found this problem...
The top plastic ridge piece bends to about 60 degrees when installed, and that seems to cause the ridge plastic to eventually give, causing it to crack. Mine was only in direct sun about 4 hours of the day in the summer, under some Oregon White Oak trees.
