I contacted VIP, sent them a picture of the damaged box and after 2 weeks they finally got back to me asking for several more pictures, information from the mailing package, my mother's maiden name and my blood type. Srsly though, they asked me to jump through many hoops. I mean, they had a picture, they had my order number and the shipping method and tracking number. They were just loading up a ton of requirements to discourage me from pursuing a remedy.
Finally, in response to those who comment "You got a bargain price and you have the nerve to gripe that your item wasn't in the 'new' condition as stated in the item description on eBay?" Ya, it's only a bargain price if the item arrives in good condition. When it arrives damaged, it's worth less than the comp used to judge value.
