3500K is too white for me. I bought 3000K ones then applied 1/4 CTO paper with tape to make them 2700K, which is the limit for me. I'm actually going to try 1/2 paper to bring them closer to 2500K.

Too bad the 40% doesn't apply to the 3 light + 3 extra battery option. Though you up the quantity to 3 and pay $27 for 3, but without the 3 extra batteries.

Actually 4000K is the best for reading, 3500K is a bit warm but in my opinion still better than 2700K.

clicked on the link and apparently i bought this at the same price last september. must still be in a box somewhere. i do love these things and have them set up all over in my basement. warning, if you got cats, they set these things off all night and can drain the batteries fairly quickly.

Deal thread from last year some people indicate that battery life isn't great, one poster said all 4 units broke wihtin 3 months and another said it wouldn't take a charge after a while.

I don't get the appeal of removable batteries when lights with fixed batteries are often cheaper. I'd buy 2~4+ units of the same style (with fixed battery), keep at least one fully charged light as a spare to swap out a depleted unit for uninterrupted lighting, which takes the about the same effort as swapping batteries (and the spare can be used as a functional light if needed). Only advantage with swapping battery is if you have different mode/brightness settings for each location that you don't want to reconfigure.

This product listing [amazon.com] of EZVALO 4-pack lights has 3 "sizes":
8" / 120 lm / 2400mAh, price 4/$30.4 (4/$25.6 on Prime Day)
12" / 150 lm / 3200mAh, 4/$38 (4/$34 on PD)
16.5" / 150 lm / 4000mAh, 4/$43.7 (4/$39 during PD)

EZVALO also has numerous 2-packs [amazon.com] of various capacities/batteries.

I've bought 4+ different brands/designs over the years and the different (magnetic) mounting plate spacing means that they are not interchangeable -- I have to use that particular brand at that location and I have to keep more spare lights (or have unlit downtime while it gets charged, or have multiple mounting plates or just a long strip of metal per location).

Like some others, I also find the battery life of my 2000-2500mAh units a bit short (as low as 4-5 days) in busy areas (kitchen/hallway) when using higher brightness so I'd definitely consider 3000-4000mAh if I needed more. I've also bought 2000mAh pouch batteries from Aliexpress (10 for $17 using coins discount) to replace batteries in older devices.
