Doesn't seem built well enough for high weight capacity. I want one so I can hoist things to a high shelf in garage but this seems just as cheap as one rated for 200-250lbs

Yeah, I'm not buying that 800lb capacity claim. They didn't even throw in a picture of an AI generated fat guy to try and convince us.

I actually have a few of these exact step ladders and I weigh just under 800 lbs (782 lbs to be precise) and it holds me up just fine
