YMMV since this is a location in Georgia. We just had this deal a month ago but a great time to pick some up for the deep freezer.

For those who don't smoke meats but have a grinder attachment on their KitchenAid mixer:
- The point makes *excellent* hamburgers, just make sure you leave the fat
- Trimmed flats make incredibly lean ground beef which is perfect for meatballs or meatloaf.

If Kroger still ground whole primals in store for you, I'd 100% suggest having this ground as it's less than half the cost of regular ground beef. Sadly, mine doesn't grind for customers any more.

Did this with an old vacuum packed brisket that'd been in the deep freeze a bit longer than I'd have liked for smoking on its own. Can also cut it with some chuck to help with the flavor and fat. Obviously takes it above $2.99 but still pretty cost effective.
