Yep 499 was prime day. I was considering it. How's the monitor?

We need these in OLED. As once each person tries an OLED, there will be no more lcd's except for low end budget models.

They do make them in OLED but it's 2x the price.

I'd be willing to bet if we put 180hz and 240hz in front of you, you couldn't tell a difference at all.

I bought a 1440P gamer, the brand is Sansui. I was shocked how better the monitor was compared with my LG monitor.

It is to me personally as a software engineer. I saw an 800R at Best Buy and hated it. Lines look curved, which just didn't feel right for coding and web development. Haven't tried it for gaming though, that might be awesome. I ended up going for 2300R on a 38" ultrawide and love it. But more expensive than this Sceptre.

1000R on a 39.7 inch seems rather aggressive to me. Everything else seem good for the price. I've had a 1500R on a 34-inch ultrawide before, and I thought it was a good compromise between gaming and general computing, but I was still actively aware of the curve. Probably the lowest curve rating I would personally go. 1800R might be the sweet spot.
