How many miles a day do you ride? How many miles does it go? Build quality? Have had Segway 9 bot. Works really well. This size at Segway is like 350 or more. With 9 bot we have to be already moving to engage the battery to minimize motor wear and tear (less torque)

It's marketed/designed for adults & teens because it can go 22mph, which is very fast for a 10 yr old. Someone that owns one will have to chime in about whether there's an app to control the max speed.

not for 10 year old. it can go easily 20+ mph. when normal downhill it can easily 30+mph. I did use the app to set speedlimit but it seems not doing anything.

Solid scooter though. I like it

I just checked my email and I bought this in Nov 2025 for $187. My kid has been riding to his friends house and picking him up and bringing him back over with it. I just rode it for the first time last night to QT 3 miles away with him last night. The back wheel cover is broke on all of our scooters because I think kids step on them. They all wrecked every scooter we have but the scooters are alright. The brakes feel worn out and hard to stop. The back light is obviously missing because the wheel cover is broke off. My 100lb kid has the 250w version and he can accelerate faster and go just as fast as me up hill and flat. It barely goes up big hills and basically crawls or stops. Down hill if you turn off the motor I think it picks up a lot of speed. Maybe it does with the motor on. His friend pushed the kick stand all the way over so it's useless now. I regret letting kids use my scooter and not their own weaker ones because that's all they need. The top speed is capped on both versions so a 200lb person on the 500w is the same as a 100lb person on 250w. But because of the caps and natural of the scooters my kid is about the same speed on the 500w one. If I ride the 250w one it would be alot more under powered for hills. They keep them all in sport mode all the time. Last night I was thinking about how fun it was to finally ride "MY" scooter but I wished it was more powerful. Anyone know what the next step up would be to handle bigger hills for adults? My house doesn't have a back door so when I need a refill, it's a long walk and a more powerful scooter would be nice go thru the scooter faster so I'm not leaving guests back there for so long. I'm about to either find a more powerful one or buy this for my wife so she can join us for summer night rides. Suspension is decent
