I would buy a fancy legit one but bike theft is too real to spend $1500+.

Same here... but the risk of an aliexpress seller never shipping the Ebike or giving you a fake tracking number is ugh

So we bought a second one after having one for 6 months, my kid loves the original. When the second one arrived, the chain was too short, it was pulling on the derailleur and warping it inward toward the wheel. The chain fell off the gear as it rotated. I took it to a local bike shop who replaced the chain and realigned everything. Reached out to the seller for a partial refund since it arrived non-functional. If you get a good one, it's excellent. If the QC on yours is bad, the refund/appeal process is a pain in the rear.

I've bought 13 of these in the past 6 weeks, I've assembled 10 of them and have yet to have an issue. I only ride them about .5 mile to adjust the brakes and make sure everything works properly.

Have you bought from this seller? I just had to cancel my Funhang order from a different store because it never shipped after waiting almost a month

Yes purchased all of them through this seller. When buying from Aliexpress look for the Brand+ sellers. A lot more trustworthy and protection against fraud. I've had all of them delivered with 4-7 days

Keep checking for the price on these to go down, it fluctuates a lot. I usually get them for $290-350 with a coupon. usually stacks with 14-20% off certain cash back sites bringing the price down another $50 or so.

Same thing happened to me. I bought a second one as the first one was good. I got one with a bend derailleur where i am not able to change to the first 3 gears. They only offer for a $20 refund after pressing them.
