Only in America! My 82 yo mocks us Americans for our excess of utensils: shrimp forks, grapefruit spoons and now burger knives. She's use a Chinese cleaver for 90% of her cutting needs and a paring knife for the rest. Watching her 80+ yo hands carve a turkey is nothing short of amazing. In this case, I have to agree: Why the heck would you need a special knife for burgers??? Would anyone really pay $25 for such a thing?

Super niche item. I woud never buy it and I know maybe just a couple people who would, but for those couple people it's a great deal for this specific item and thought I'd share Smilie (hope that makes sense lol)

So how many did you buy after that rant? LolYou know... Wusthof is a German company. There's a city in that country called Hamburg... where supposedly a tasty sandwich was originated. Some fancy folks might use such a utensil to eat said sandwich with their pinky's up. That said I do appreciate when a restaurant brings my fancy burger out with a knife inserted to hold together and cut in half if need be. At home is another story but to each their own =)

as useful as hotdog knives. you would think the Germans would have more sense than wasting company resources on this nonsense.
