Green and white were $88 open box excellent. (bestbuy) I was able to buy a white one but it looks like they just changed the price/made it unavailable

How is this compared with Ultra Gen 1 or Gen 2 in terms of ANC effectiveness for long haul air travel? Wondering is it worthy of extra money for ultra?

I have these and the ultra gen 1. I prefer these. The ANC on the ultra is just barely better, but these are far more comfortable for me. On these the ear pad is softer and I feel the clamping force is lighter.

Thanks for info. All I care is about ANC for long haul travel. Seems Gen1 isn't much better.

I have these and the Ultra Gen 2's. I haven't found more comfortable headphones than the Ultra Gen 2's. It feels like they got the clamping force on the Ultra Gen 2's perfect (at least for me) and these are great too. The clamping force on the Sonys was always too uncomfortable for me. The headband on the Ultra Gen 2's is also amazing and comfortable too, the headband on these is a close second. Like someone else said, the ANC on the Ultra Gen 2s is marginally better, but noticeable especially in louder environments. These are slightly lighter than the Ultras, and both work great for long haul flights. For me, nothing is more comfortable than the Ultra Gen 2s for long term wear (many hours at a time), but at this price point the Ultras are more than double what these cost. The sound quality of the Ultras is better too but it's not a drastic difference. These feel a bit more on ear (but still very comfortable) where the Ultras are a but more over ear. I was deciding between both of them but ended up picking both of them up at different times and use them for different things. The Ultra Gen 2's are my most common daily used headphones and come with me when I travel, if that tells you anything. Hope that helps!
