I'm not sure about this version. It looks much newer. They hopefully correct things.
To newcomers, be warned, it is icon-loaded, but it's quite capable of grasping. You need to go to Board Game Geek and download, print for each player, the icon cheat sheet.
Once you play one game, you'll get it. The game plays faster.
Even my wife loves this game.
It's a little more than gateway but is very accessible. You need that one game to tool up.
For a gateway, try the Lords of Waterdeep. You don't need to know the back story. Don't worry about the theme. It's not important.
A fun worker placement.
These two games need to be labeled classic and on Walmart shelves as a replacement for junk classic games, which give board games a bad name.
I paid $20, which was the price of this game when it first came out, I'd pay this price for a newer upgraded cardboard, color adjustments.
