The 2.5-lb plates is where every company gets you. They know you need them, because what else are you gonna do, add 10 pounds to the bar every time? Compared to everyone else selling "Barbell Standard" (read: mass produced in China) plates, $4 each and eligible for free shipping isn't bad.
