This is a low cost inspection endoscope that works best for occasional DIY, plumbing, and car troubleshooting. The 16.4 foot cable reaches into pipes, walls, spark plug holes, and behind ceilings, and the image is often good enough to locate joists, wiring, leaks, or clogs. The main drawbacks are weak resolution in dark areas, no photo or video recording, and no articulating head for tighter automotive work. The frequent return label and coupon issues add some checkout risk, making it a practical tool if those limits are acceptable.
The endoscope can help locate joists and trace electrical wiring when installing recessed lights.
The built-in light and clear image can support occasional inspections under furniture and inside spark plug holes.
The long cable length can reach into pipes for occasional checks without needing articulation.
The endoscope can still work after about 2.5 years for basic inspection tasks despite limited low-light video.
The endoscope does not support photo or video recording, which can be a dealbreaker for some buyers.
The promo code may fail at checkout, raising the total price to around $26 instead of $17.99.
The image resolution and video quality can be disappointing compared with higher-end endoscopes.
The built-in light can be too weak, which may make the endoscope essentially useless for some situations.
