I bought this on the last "sale" for $799. It's been a nice upgrade from the 2019 Ipad I'd occasionally use.

Just bought this IPad from AAFES and was able to get them to price match on the Pencil Pro for $99 at Amazon. $898 out the door for the tablet and pencil. Then I went to Amazon and picked up the ZAGG XTR4 screen protector and the Pelican Voyager case with hand loop and kick stand. The Pelican case has a pencil holder that allow it to charge while also keeping it secured. Makes a great setup to do surveys with.

these may go up in value because of the ram shortage. I have an old ipad pro 2019 model i believe. I just use it to watch youtube to be honest , why even upgrade?

This is a great price for those that can take advantage of it. I think we would have seen more sales at this price more often if we weren't in the situation we're currently in. Amazon and other retailers had it on sale at this price back in February. Almost no chance of that happening now with the price increases from Apple.

The problem with iPad is you have to spend more just to make them useful. Maybe if you're a professional. But for someone like me who wants to watch YouTube forget it. Ads galore.

AAFES at least has had this price at least a dozen times since the M5 Pro released last October, so nothing new. Before it was $200 off MSRP though, while now it is technically $400 off MSRP, since Apple has raised the MSRP on all iPad models by $200.

I am a bit surprised that they are still doing the $799 / $1099 sale prices on the 11"/13". I figured after the increases from Apple the new "sale" prices would've been $999/$1299, matching the previous offers of $200 off retail. Glad to be mistaken.
