Great camera, my only complaint is that it doesn't have 24/7 continuous recording when plugged in.

Yea. I think for me it does what I need but a 24/7 recording would be cool.

So it doesn't do 24/7 recording if wired. So if it was a battery one it'll record 24/7 Just checking because I'm interested in getting one. I like the ring doorbell but the subscription. Kills it

It does motion detection on both wired and battery. It's really good detection.

The problem I have had with mine is the battery running down quicker when I turn on the person detection. If I turn that off, the battery lasts months. However, if i turn it on (and I DO want it on), the battery lasts weeks and needs to be recharged which takes hours. I have contacted Eufy customer support on this problem several times but never received a response. I have heard they are coming out with a newer version of their doorbell camera, but I have heard that for a while.

I love Eufy on paper because of the lack of a subscription. I have the S330 and have had lots of problems with it. Went through 3 of them before I got one that would connect to my WiFi. It is not on my wifi but it does not connect to the wired chime inside my house or the Eufy wireless chime that I used with my last device. Overall not very satisfied with the S330. I know it is not the exact thing as this deal. Eufy was fairly good about sending replacements for my defective S330s.

Check your stores. A nearby store had it for $59.99 but was $89.99 at another.
Hooked it up yesterday to replace a ring doorbell i had and it's much better. I hard wired mine but you can use it with the included battery.

I ended up buying the official eufy branded spare battery for quick power swaps, so I don't have to wait 4 hours to recharge.
