so the storage on these are pretty low? I read that you need to get a homebase for it if you want any decent storage (2gb).

I'm sorry but these are trash. They straight up stop working in any extremely cold conditions, think every eastern winter. Inconsistent notification and recording at best, even with the correct transformer and everything in spec. Not worth it at any price.
