It's crazy how the knock off compression boots are so much cheaper than the norma-tec booths you see at run expos. Those suckers run a few thousand bucks. I bought a knock off brand back in 2020 for $400 that still works and now they are this cheap. That's pretty good.

I bought very similar compression device for legs and used it about a dozen times... now it sits in the closet as another senseless item I bought. Save your money... really.

I have a similar pair that I bought just before covid. At the time I was running 70-100 miles a week and read that people had used them for recovery. I did use them a lot back then, but I don't really know if that made a difference or it was the fact that I was just sitting down resting doing nothing for 30 minutes which was the max time I could set on mine. I always used them while in my bed and would just reset it a couple of times and would usually fall asleep. The sleep probably helped more then these boots. But it still felt good and even if it serves as a placebo of "this is helping me, for $65 go for it. I paid a few hundred for mine and they still work. yeah, I run about half of that volume, and had the massage boots while recovering from an Achilles tear (basketball injury). I surprisingly haven't used the boots since I started running (2yrs ago, after giving up bball), but I have a smaller massage gun, and that's my go to after races.

I'd recommend a nice, usb-c rechargeable massage gun for leg soreness since you can target the areas that need the most attention.
