The LOKITHOR J2250 PRO is a compact LiFePO4 jump starter that stands out for real time battery voltage monitoring and 65W USB C power delivery, features that are uncommon in this class. The battery is described as a larger, high discharge design with beefier jump cables, and the older version has been used to revive dead batteries on a 3.0 liter inline six and a 3.5 liter V6. The main concern is reliability, with reports of units failing after a few starts or needing replacement. It looks strongest for drivers who want extra diagnostics and USB C output in a portable starter.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. It includes real-time battery voltage monitoring for the battery connected to the clamps, plus a built-in volt meter and 65W USB-C PD in/out, which is uncommon on jump starters in this price range.
It has been reported to jump a completely dead 4V battery on a 3.0L inline-6, and a weaker version of the same line started a dying 3.5L V6 in under 5 seconds. A related LOKITHOR JT400 also handled a 7.5L V8, suggesting the line can handle real-world starts beyond small engines.
Some units have failed after only a few starts, and one user is on a second unit with ongoing issues. Other reports describe successful long-term use of related LOKITHOR models, so durability appears to depend on the specific unit and use case.
Yes. The USB-C port supports 65W PD output, and the unit also supports 65W PD in/out, so it can charge compatible devices and recharge itself over USB-C.
It uses LiFePO4, which is described as a different high-discharge design from typical power-station batteries. That chemistry is generally considered more weather-resistant than LiPo-style jump starters, though hot storage and keeping batteries fully charged can still affect longevity.

Any reliable jump starter you can recommend? All of the Li-ion jump starter I have (Anker, Ravpower, Gooloo) eventually swells and can't hold a charge anymore.
Stanley makes an ok one too
