I don't see why it won't work. The fan is designed to sit on top of the bucket, so you'd need to figure out where to rest the fan. Not a big deal though.

as long as the bottle opening is large enough. It fits through the gallons that are like milk jugs but if it's like a soda bottle then it doesn't fit IIRC. I use them mostly for baseball games (1 in dugout and 1 for wife and I watching). I'll often sit the water jug in the bucket and open the lid instead of pouring the water into the bucket. It makes it easier if the whole gallon isn't used to just put the lid back on for the next game/day instead of pouring the water out.

Title says refurbished but description says reconditioned. The two are not the same. Which is it?

Link isn't working on my phone to check.

Edit: it finally worked. This is reconditioned, NOT refurb as title suggests. OP should fix title...

They really really doI can't speak to the refurb recon etc but I got one at Home Depot 5 years ago ad use it for kids sports tournaments, hot holidays like this weekend. Medium size battery lasts at least 5 hours. 5 gallons of water lasts all day

You don't need the bottle, it hooks directly to the hose.

I put the end into an insulated gallon water bottle filled with ice water, kept it inside a 5-gallon bucket, and pulled the bucket in a wagon while I watched my daughter compete in the heptathlon at the Junior Olympics last July in Savannah, GA. It worked wonderfully! I didn't want to lug the bucket around with water because it slushed too much to my liking, plus that would have just been spraying warm water. I also modified the tube by installing a control valve; otherwise, it sucks in too much water, and instead of a fine mist, you end up getting a full-on shower.

I already have 2 of these. They work very well. I'm taking both of them to a 4th of July party today. I usually freeze some 1/2 gallon jugs full of water and place them in the 5 gallon bucket to get the water a little colder. They were a huge hit at last years 4th of July party.
