The actual description says 30 km/h, not mph; and 31-60 km range.

Well, if the battery and the controller can push a continuous 20A, there's your 1000W claim.
But yeah, as others have said - no way this shit is hitting 30mph

I've been eyeing the 15AH version as it seems like a more reasonable battery size for zipping a full grown human a few miles quickly without being afraid of running out of juice.
If it's not obvious, this isn't bike that anyone would ever pedal to get anywhere. Single gear that would only be useful climbing up at steep hill at 4 MPH. At anything over 8 MPH on flat ground you'll be spinning like mad for no added velocity. This is a scooter with a seat and pedals to rest your feet on.
