The only bathroom use I can see for this is for people who have a bathroom entrance from a pool enclosure (people with wet feet coming to use the bathroom from the pool) otherwise, I don't see this as a bathroom type of mat myself. more for on the outside or inside of an entryway.

I find those fuzzy bathroom mats too fuzzy and catch all kinds of dirt.

there are some nice bath mats (memory foam types) that aren't fuzzy that are very soft to the feel to walk on that I use. I don't see the OP mat as being comfortable on bare feet, more for the anti-slip nature which is why I mentioned by a pool entrance bathroom. Look into the memory foam ones, affordable, washable and hold up pretty well.
