The Deco and the Netgear Orbi are both highly recommended. I chose Orbi over the Deco, bc Orbi better at reaching a detached garage and even without its satellites hooked up it was already sending amazing WiFi signal to the garage.

I have a set of decos that are now out of support but still functional. They are a really robust and easy to use solution. One of the best in the mesh lineup

Cheaper to buy 2x 2-packs than a single 2-pack at amzn... If you happen to need 3, you might as well get 4.

That information is for the Singapore market for labeling guidelines for the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. That doesn't actually reflect what may or may not happen with the US versions.

App is really weak unless they updated it for newer routers.. It thinks devices are still connected when they have been turned off or left home, blocking is very hit or miss and occasionally app crashes and takes the whole network down with it, have to reboot the main router, it doesn't always pick the strongest signal to connect so some devices somehow stick to weaker signal mesh, no way to set different ssid to force closer devices to connect to single mesh though there are some settings within app but they don't always stay especially with things like iPhone they change MAC.

I bought a 3 pack of these about a year ago (or a little more) for $219 from Costco when they were clearing them out to make room for the WiFi 7 routers. As far as coverage goes, the Asus AC1900 that these replaced was incredibly reliable, but my house is a single story at over 4,000 square feet, so coverage was definitely lacking. I could have used extenders, and sacrificed further performance, but a mesh system and a step up to 6E was the best case scenario for my use case. Coverage now extends beyond all rooms in my house, my garage, and the surrounding yard, so that was a win. Mesh routers are the way. As far as reliability goes, it's been a mixed bag. I have come home, or woken up to dead WiFi a few times now and had to reboot the router, so compared to my experience with YEARS of reliability from the Asus router, that has been somewhat disappointing. My greater concern is the future of security updates from TP-Link. The Trump administration appears to be dead set on a path to shutting down at least some Chinese companies doing business in the U.S., and Trump has singled out TP-Link specifically a few times now. While nearly all routers are currently made in China, firmware is controlled by the company owning the brand, and TP-Link is a mainland China company company with ties to the Chinese government. Still it's hard to see how these sanctions can be implemented as expeditiously as has been discussed, but that still leaves me with the anxiety of owning a brand with a potentially very limited life in terms of security updates. There is no third party firmware for these routers, as there is for Asus and other brands. If I knew then what I know now, I would probably have not bought them.
