I take advantage of this deal every time DG offers it. Yesterday I grabbed $500.00 worth for $425.00. Combining my military discount, when shopping at Lowe's, this is great. I have always paid for the Lowe's GC with my Mastercard. Yesterday, for the first time, the cashier said I had to pay with cash. I asked her to try the Mastercard and the payment went thru. Not sure why she said I had to use cash.

Log into the dollar general app. Add the coupon to your account. At the register in store at checkout, put your phone number in and it should automatically apply.

Great catch. If you have a Lowe's card you get another percent off, I want to say it's like 3-5% but I forget what it is exactly at the moment. Does anyone know if you can use gift cards to pay your bill off? That would be an awesome double dip.

My app shows this is valid until 7/25... YMMV. Also, check your Amex/Chase cards for a bonus CB offer at Dollar General YMMV.

I did this last time worked great. First time using the DG app, clipped, put in phone # at store and got a $200 gc for $170. Prob gonna do the same this time.

Most dollar general are cash only for gift cards now

Shows the only eligible item being the $75 multi-pack of $25 cards. Going to still hop on this, but really wish I could bump it to $500 as other say they were able to.

Do all dollar generals carry these gift cards? Searching in the app they don't show up. When I click the link here it says not sold in store. So are these just not listed online?
