How do I get my dog to use mouthwash? I tried with scope and we were both traumatized.

This stuff has popped up a few times. 4.3 rating and numerous reports of vomiting/diarrhea give me pause

My concern is whether this is just a big fat placebo. I mentioned to my vet that I use this stuff and he shrugged and basically said to brush their teeth.

Any evidence that this actually improves dogs' dental health?

I was looking to see if something like this would be helpful for my dog. In my preliminary research, I saw there are products that are accepted by the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council). My plan was to use one of those products, if I can find one that is highly rated.

This product is not VOHC-accepted.

Products should probably be on Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) to ensure effectiveness.
