There are others that are similar that will work. This one has the connector in a slightly different location so the cable routing was not the same as the original but it works. I'm sure you can find one with the right connector location. I'm very happy with the result. Make sure to install the AMD graphics drivers to ensure correct panel settings are used by Windows. I dual boot Fedora 44 KDE and everything works as expected.

Edit: I also used it with a Dell TB16 Thunderbolt 3 dock, a HP G2 TB3 dock, and a newer Dell TB4 dock in my office. No issues.

I bought the same computer from another seller on ebay in mid 2024 but with 16GB and 256GB SSD. Have upgraded to 32GB and 1TB SSD. Sturdy and well built. Display is too dim and dull for my taste so I replaced it with a 400NIT panel with better color gamut (cheap and easy to do). Even plays most older games at decent settings. Remember to disable the Windows feature to reduce color gamut while on battery for better color.

Yes, the RAM can be upgraded up to 64GB, as already mentioned in the description. The SSD can be swapped too.

Dang, I wanted a touchscreen. Not a bad deal, though. I have some apps that take over the keyboard and the touchscreen makes it nice that I don't have to exit the app and restart. I use this daily btw.

The Radeon 680m is only about 5% slower than the upgraded 780m on the newer iGPU. Not bad actually. Plus the 32gb ram shortage thing is a real deal right now. But I feel like I could find a better deal but not everyone is a pc tech

A couple of things to note - this is 4 generations old (AMD 6000, 7000, 8000, 200, 300, 400 - so maybe 5 generations but their counting has been haywire), and it has a 38Wh battery - so don't expect a lot of battery life. But I don't expect Thanksgiving to have a lot of deals for computers. The memory and SSD companies are too busy being greedy to offer good pricing for consumers. SAAlso note that memory is 4800 speed - so don't mix/match with 5200 or 5600 speed memory.

Paid about 280 for the g10 version with 256gb memory in early 2025. Its my daily driver now. Really good laptop. Battery isn't the best but I would buy it again. Almost all the parts in this laptop are user replaceable.
